World Cup Final Day

It’s Sun 19/07/2026 World Cup final day, and we have the finalists, Spain v Argentina, both bidding to be champions. One Euro 24 winner and the defending World Cup champions.

Spain had a good semi-final against France, scoring twice, giving a 2–0 final score. Spain played well, shutting down the French to take the win. Despondent France had nothing to offer back and suffered the consequences.

Argentina had a mixed semi-final with England. There were no goals in the first half, but a lot of dirty fouls from Argentina. England scored soon after half-time. But as in the Egypt game, the Argentinians played like madmen and scored 2. 2-1 to Argentina finished it.

This final will be a great match. If Spain can play like the semis, they stand a good chance as long as they know the counter will come heavy if Argentina are losing.

We also think the referee needs to keep an eye on the dirty play of Messi and his crew. If Spain gets in the lead, they need to keep pushing forward, not playing in their own half, defending.

It’s sure to be a good game, whatever. For us, we want our European neighbours to win and get the Argentinian dirty players back.
