The match they all hate is the bronze match. If anything, it might as well be dissolved; no one wants to play in it.

England fielded a new side with most players rested. It was an impressive first half with England taking control of the half. England scored with Declan Rice after 3 minutes, and numerous chances arose. But another 3 goals came from Saka and Konsa in the first half, leaving the score 4-0 to England.

In the second half, France had some major player changes, making it nearly a full A-team selection. France, with Mbappe, scored early in the second half, playing with urgency. France kept pushing and got another goal from Barcola.

France played with determination, and before the hydration break, Mbappe got another to make it 3 – 4. In the first half, they where no where; now they are everywhere. Bellingham was brought on at 80 mins to help.

At 85 mins, we were awarded a penalty, which Saka converted, making it 3-5 and Saka’s hat trick. Bellingham made a difference coming on, but the French continued to push. Dembele sticks one in at 3 mins to go, and in the last minute, Bellingham scores, making it 4-6.

What a great game, let’s hope the final is as exciting.
